Vehicle Assistance Application

Keys to Hope Foundation anticipates opening its first application period on or about January 1, 2027. The application will be available on this page when the period opens. Please check back for the confirmed opening date and application instructions.

What to Expect After You Apply

Keys to Hope reviews applications on a quarterly schedule. Application periods are planned for January, April, July, and October.

1. Apply during the first month. Submit your application and requested supporting documents during the open application period.
2. Review and verification follow in the second month. We review eligibility and documents, verify information as needed, and assess applications based on program criteria and available vehicles.
3. Finalists may be invited to meet with us. Near the end of the second month or beginning of the third, we expect to meet with approximately three to five finalists. An invitation to meet does not guarantee a vehicle.
4. Selections are made during the third month. We aim to select a primary recipient and an alternate by the middle of the month. We will contact applicants about the outcome of their application.
5. Vehicle arrangements follow selection. A selected applicant must complete final requirements, including licensing, insurance, and transfer paperwork. When a suitable vehicle is ready, we aim to complete the transfer by the end of the quarter.

Vehicle assistance depends on eligibility, funding, and the availability of a suitable vehicle. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection or a vehicle within that quarter. Dates may change, and we will post updates on this page.
